A bounty of fresh figs…

A neighbor of mine has a huge fig tree and they all seem to be ripening at once. So, I helped harvest some that were to high for her to reach and I will distribute to friends and other neighbors with whom we all share produce from our individual gardens.
Look how lush the interior of that half-eaten one is. I had eaten 3/4’s with fresh coffee before I thought to take a picture.
